Today, I’m giving you a video guitar review for the Journey Overhead Parlor Guitar.
For guitarists looking for a comfortable easy-playing guitar, or those with a space requirement, check out this guitar. It’s a backpack guitar designed to fit in overhead luggage.
Specifically, I’m talking about the FP-412 by Journey.
The travel guitar for overhead or airplane storage is the perfect fit. The Firstclass Overhead is a collapsible guitar. The guitar comes with a roller bag for the Firstclass travel guitar. When traveling, fitting in an overhead friendly backpack is important for a guitar.
My guitar, made by Journey, is a killer touring guitar with a removable bolt-on neck. It’s great for classical and competes with a full-sized grand auditorium guitar. It also competes with the carbon fiber travel guitar that collapses to carry-on size, also made by Journey.
This guitar sounds great. This little, fixed-neck parlor-sized guitar with a solid Sitka top and layered mahogany has been praised in guitar making for its stability. It’s a good fit and a smaller body guitar with a nice parlor tone that’s super balanced — all things considered.
When I look for a travel guitar with a gig bag, this acoustic guitar is dynamite.
Beyond the Firstclass parlor overhead being a collapsible traditional parlor travel guitar that features a nice stowaway system, it’s a guitar with a really warm sound.
The line of guitars that deal with travel and space are rarely designed for fitting in the overhead bin compartment.
Hey Tony
I just got my FP412 yesterday. I love it. I travel often as a FEMA reservist and I always worry about the guitar I bring with me. (Who hasn’t seen “United Breaks Guitars?”) I look forward to traveling with it. Thanks for the review.
