Both the GHS Fast Fret and the Planet Waves XLR8 work miracles if your strings tarnish, you have gunk build-up, or you are battling the squeaky strings.
I have used both of these products on my uncoated strings for quite some time to much success. I suggest trying these out if you are battling the ever-present squeaky or gunky strings.
