This product really changed my view on how I take care of my instruments. I bought this product because it seemed a little gimmicky, I bought it out of curiosity.
I have to tell you, my experience was pretty eye opening. This product is the Daddario Humiditrak System. There are two options when purchasing, you can get the whole kit which has three humidipaks plus a humiditrak, or you can purchase the humiditrak as a stand alone product.
It’s super easy to use. I was nervous about pairing the bluetooth (technology is not my friend) but it turned out to be very simple. After now having it installed for about three weeks I am starting to see trends and figuring out ways to keep my guitar more stable. My next experiment will be to use the humiditrak without the humidipaks.

The Humiditrak is junk. I own two of them, and neither one worked longer than 2 months. The software is glitchy too. The first one I bought let me think it was still working for 3 months after it quit. It showed a 3/4 charge on the battery, but I found that the battery had died a month after I installed it. Of course, by the time I found out that neither of my devices worked any longer, D’Addario told me the warranty period had expired and offered no help.
Buyer beware! I’m not the only one to experience this problem. I wish I had given more weight to the negative reviews of this product. My guitars were not hurt, but I had to pay over $100.00 to find out what kind of company D’Addario is.
