The boom-chick-a rhythm is one of the most iconic (and useful) rhythms to learn on the guitar. It consists of a single bass note (the boom), a down strum (the chick), and an upstroke (the -a).
If it sounds suspiciously like the boom-chick rhythm from a previous video, you’d be correct. This is simply a continuation of that rhythm with an extra element.
