This week harmonies will float through the air waves and delight your ears.
These two sing together with an uncanny exactness, and although they have a high level of precision they retain the unique character that each of their voices have.
Love Letter For Fire by Sam Beam (commonly known as Iron and Wine) and Jesca Hoop is about as chocked full of harmonies as it gets. This album is one that I got some time ago, but never threw it on the turn table until recently… Ok, I listened to it for maybe two passes initially, but then it sat a bit. It was released in April 2016 and man oh man am I glad to revisit it.
While listening to this album at TAC Studios, Noah mentioned that he really dug the out of the box song structure, which I agree with him completely, I dig it as well. If you happen love harmonies, crafty song writing and subtle acoustic infused instrumentation this is an album that you will no doubt enjoy.
