I recently received my new custom Bourgeois guitar, and in my guitar I ordered a pickup made by LR Baggs. I hadn’t ever played through this particular pickup, but I had heard it on Matt’s custom Bourgeois. I thought it sounded so clear, concise and transparent.
I am not typically one to order things I have not tried myself. I went ahead and ordered it – I would say it’s less of a pickup and more of a microphone.
This pickup system produces beautiful tone. What I love about this system is that it uses this true mic technology, which allows you to play it aggressively without giving you an odd tone. It sounds so pure and is super feedback resistant.
