A couple of episodes back on Acoustic Tuesday, I featured a singer/songwriter who has an incredible voice, and his songwriting is just, well, it’s about as raw as it can get. He’s like a word magician, and I gotta tell you, I was super pumped to find out this piece of knowledge…
This artist who I am referring to is Benjamin Tod. Benjamin is part of the Lost Dog Street Band. Benjamin Tod and his wife, Ashley Mae, formed this duo in 2010, and they put out some incredible music. In fact, I think I referenced their band back in that episode, but guess what I found out?!?!
They’re gearing up to record a brand new album, and they currently have an Indiegogo page that is live and awaiting your contribution if you so choose to make one. I believe the campaign ends on August 28, 2018 so be sure to act fact on this one. I was scrolling on Facebook the other day, and I saw that they had this campaign going, and I’m just so excited because they’re really talented and just incredibly true songwriters. I would encourage you to check out their music, you will not be dissapointed.
When you do go to the Indiegogo page check out all the different rewards and whatnot, and if you feel so inspired, please contribute because they’re gearing up to go to Nashville and record this album, and I just can’t wait for it to come out. If you’re unfamiliar with the Lost Dog Street Band, there is a little taste for you waiting on that Indiegog page; they’re doing a tune called “The Ballad of a Broken Man” that I particularly like.

They’ve got a full outline of what they plan to do, where they plan to record, and where the funds all go. If you can’t contribute today no worries, just be sure to share their campaign with someone who you think would dig their music. I’m super excited about their new project, and I just can’t imagine helping a more deserving bunch of musicians.
