This week’s featured acoustic artist is Eric Skye, who comes recommended to us by Acoustic Tuesday listener Trent S. from La Crete, Alberta, Canada.
Trent says, “What I love? Everything. I love his finger picking, and I especially love his flatpicking. His album June Apple is absolutely fantastic, and it’s not lighting fast so it’s awesome to sit down and play along with. I just recently did a lesson with him, he’s super kind and explains things so well. And he’s got 50 fiddle tunes up on his website in standard notation for the true music geek!”
Well Trent I cannot agree more. In fact everything you said is true, plus some! The best word to describe his music in my opinion is tasteful. Check him out.
