This week’s featured acoustic artist is Emily Barnes, who came recommended to us by Acoustic Tuesday listener Pam B. of Nazareth PA. As soon as I received Pam’s recommendation I took it seriously. She lives in the same town where Martin Guitars is based, so clearly she’s a guitar geek who knows what she’s talking about.
Pam says, “I met and heard Emily at a songwriter round. Her songs, voice and guitar playing are amazing. She sounds even better in person, and I think more people should know about her. I got her album Let In the Light at the round and I can’t stop playing it.”
This recommendation totally blew my socks off. Emily is very much under the radar, but she shouldn’t be. She’s an outstanding singer/songwriter, her playing is fantastic and her lyrical content is so moving. You won’t be disappointed.
