David Bromberg Unsung Treasure is one to watch. He was a musical enigma. It’s a fascinating story, a documentary everyone should see. I learned a lot about him in this film and really enjoyed it.
David Bromberg Unsung Treasure was featured in Acoustic Tuesday Episode #79 along with many more guitar geek discoveries. Click here to watch the full episode.
Just watched episode 79, I really enjoy these videos! Love your laid back style Tony, Noah (Levi, when he’s there) 👍🏽on your mention about Nathan Salsburg.
Because you guys are such geeks “guitar geeks” I wanted to share my love for the acoustic guitar & my experience when I moved to Mau’i
…have you and I’m sure you have, heard of Hawai’ian kī hōʻalu, slack key guitar. it’s beautiful to listen to and watch them play. Keola Beamer, Ledward Kaapana just to name a few. Also a wonderful duo “Hapa”, Keliʻi Kanealiʻi (kī hōʻalu was hard enough 😂)
& Barry Flanagan, I played the tape to death on my cross country trip from California to NJ.
These Hawai’ians can play! Oh thanks Noah for the correct pronunciation of the ukelele, now we vets would like to see a right handed salute lol. Okay give the civvie a break. 🤙🏽
