Hi Tony and Noah,
I love the show. It is always informative and interesting.
I think you should check out “Standing in the Shadows of Motown.” It is not really acoustic but I think everyone should know about the Funk Brothers! They were excellent. It is a very good DVD.
John Borak from Colorado Springs.
Thanks Noah. I had bought all of the Days albums
Love them all. I agree that Travis is a music phenom. It’s funny how we lose track of music like this that is very awesome.
I picked up the guitar in the 1967 played for a few years and put it down. At the age of 67 i have picked it back up and now enjoy so much that i have purchased three more. The wife says I can’t go to the beach any more because I spend more time at guitar stores than I do on the beach. And always bringing another one home.
In South Georgia it get in the high ninetys and not able to do the wife’s honey do list outside, allowing me a
a lot time to practice. “Amen”
I have stayed up all night on the guitar and watching your videos. Greatest guitar program on YouTube ever.
YOU ARE A GUITAR GEEK WHEN YOU DON’T MIND THE WIFE NAGGING YOU TO PUT IT DOWN DO SOMETHING WITH HER.
Hey Tony! Blackhawks jersey. Not the traditional one from my youth, but much better than Philly or (ugh) Boston colors.
Go ‘Hawks!!
Hi Tony and Noah, just saw #93.very cool.loved your artist from days of the new.very nice.james Taylor’s guitar senal was very cool.he played the beautiful little guitar, and then he said,i will see you tomorrow, and gave his guitar a hug.very cool.he was sending love to his guitar.and guitars are wood.so they know and pick it up.they are porous.like a sponge.they pick up everything.i love my guitars,i am learning little by little.i do what my time allows me.i have a keyboard piano, and a beautiful student violin.i am teaching myself.but I am learning on my spare time.i am really busy everyday.but I find a couple of minutes of the day,for a little bit of music, either by utube,or listening to music.whatever I can.anyway see you in #94 thanks.👍💡😁🎸🎤
I forgot to say, noah I can relate to your kids night with the classroom in your home.i lived it.i know all about it.so funny.but stop having so many babies.six is alot.i love them, but a real big responsibility like forever.to much Noah.anyway, have a good week.see you at #94.👍💡😁🎸🎤
Seminal moment (not subliminal)…lol
blackhawks suck lets go blues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!sorry history bout to be made
Been watching since EP#1. Always love the show. I’m in Sydney Australia so for me it’s Acoustic Wednesday. I work from home and Wednesday morning is always less productive because I’m watching the show while trying to work. I guess that’s a #you know you’re a guitar geek when…………….
Enjoyed my first Acoustic Tuesday this week. I am from Huntington,WV . I found the tips for your First Open Mic even though I have already done several. I got tickled this called Acoustic Tuesday as I my son does a weekly video,Tarantula Tuesday, as well.
Hello, been watching the show for a few months now and think it is great. Had a question though. In your guitar guide you recommend playing everything and give recommendations for what is good for flat picking and what is good for finger picking. Well, I have been trying out a ton of guitars and now have a problem. I WANT THEM ALL!!! But realistically I am really just getting into guitar playing and want an all around great guitar I can fall in love with. So what are your recommendations for the swiss army knife of guitars?
Love the show.
You know you are a guitar geek when you go bed and before you fall asleep you air practice a major key in any chord and wake up the next morning and notice your fingers are in the shape of G major. lol
Love the Hockey references—the Hawks jersey, outdoor rinks, teeth, guitars, friends, its all good…I play both too—hockey and guitar. Hard to say which one brings me closer to the Truth. Play On/Skate On…
You know you’re a (old) guitar geek when you have to put an ice pack on your hands before playing.
Ya. Living on the beach, we have grown accustom to having great musicians for a small place. (think bars and tourists) Dennis Wallace is one of the favorite sons of the area, playing bluegrass. I mean, this is the beach……Bluegrass? But he is too professional to be ignored. Anyway, google him some time. (maybe under the band name, Corn Fused) he is the best.
Hey Tony, you should try to get your podcast on Stitcher Radio….a lot of non-Apple users use that one. Thanks for this vid!
