#4 Going Into Orbit
Vinyl albums are an item of pure beauty. From the album art, the shiny black disc, the liner notes, and the listening experience; vinyl records capture as much or more mojo and magic than the music was originally recorded with. The album is only half of the equation though…

#3 What’s On the Turntable This Week?
This weeks featured artist comes from John Zorn in El Paso, TX. He says: “Much like John Fahey he makes a single guitar sound incredible. This is the sound I aspire to create one day.” For all of you out there who happen to like the American primitive guitar style you are going to love this…

#1 A Sexy Capo?!?!
Yoke capos are one of the most convenient capo types available. They are beautifully designed to stay on your guitar when not in use, and very easy to recruit when a capo is necessary. For a while there was really only one high end yoke capo option until this company came along…

You have a typo on featured artist section. It says Zorn John but should say John Zorn. – Shawn

Hi Fellas,
I really enjoyed the Orbit Turntable review. In the 60’s and 70’s I considered myself an Audiophile with an extensive record collection. The segment brought top of mind how much I enjoyed the liner notes and album artwork.
If you guys could include other segments of what components are out there would be swell and far out. Keep up the great work.

I’m ashamed of what I did for a Klondike Bar.
Shout out from Niagara On the Lake, Ontario Canada. From Eric and Dog Dixie.
I have seen all the shows. Perfect and reminds me of the 70s when playing and interacting with other guitarist while in High School.
Seeing tall he shows and in discussions with my wife, I have discovered a problem. I presently have 10 nice guitars, a Mandolin and a Banjo for now, but when I kick-the-bucket where will they go? I have no one to leave them too, so can they go to Guitars for Vets? Or what are the suggestions. Sorry for bringing up the dark side of owning guitars, but guitars live for generations and so do parts of the spirit of past owners. Just a thought!
#you know you’re a guitar geek when: at the Doctors appointment the ners try to poke you finger to get some blood you tell her not on the tip, she responds I have done this for 20 years then she looks to see the knife tip is bent, because it could not go thru your finger tip callus, you just sit smiling as she keeps look at you.

#YouKnowYou’reaGuitarGeekWhen….you wife just knows she needs to ride in the back seat of the car because the guitars are safer in the front seat
#You know you’re a guitar geek when…
You are actually happier when the guitar you are trying to sell…doesn’t sell.
#YouKnowYou’reAGuitarGeekWhen – you spent part of the trip to the Acoustic Life Festival during layovers with your buddy working out the details for sharing “custody” of your dream guitar that is out of your price range but together is “affordable”. i.e. every other Christmas, birthdays, holidays etc… 😉
#Youknowyou’reaguitargeekwhen… your wife catches you leaning out of your seat to look past the sweet young singer to see what kind of guitar her accompanist is playing.
#youknowyou’reaguitargeekwhen: You get done with a practice session and later scratch your nose only to catch the smell of the strings on your fingers and wonder. Could I have played what I did, better?
